The Music Fun Factory

With Anita Hall

Wednesdays in term time, times below

£2 per session

The music fun factory is a range of musical activities for musicians of all abilities to learn and play together. All classes are taught by experienced tutor Anita Hall, who has been teaching flute for over 30 years and has plenty of experience of performing in a number of bands and orchestras.

Notelets – 4.30pm to 5.30pm

Notelets is the beginners group, suitable for woodwind players up to grade 3. The class is suitable for both adults and children, and we encourage a mix of ages to attend. Learn the fundamentals of woodwind playing through fun games and challenges. Anita recommends that you begin your journey on a recorder as this is a great beginner’s instrument, and when you have built up some confidence she will recommend which instrument to move on to.

Ukulele Jukebox – 5.45pm to 6.45pm

The Music Fun Factory also includes the ukulele jukebox, an ensemble class for learning the ukulele by playing along to popular songs. Ukulele is a great beginners instrument and the ukulele jukebox will have you happily strumming away in no time.

Note-ables – 7pm to 8.30pm

The final session is Note-ables, a group for more advanced wind musicians to learn pieces as an ensemble for various concerts and performances. Note-ables have performed in concerts in the Berry Theatre.

Please call us on 01489 779471 for more information on any of these sessions

You are welcome to bring your own instrument along to sessions, or oboes, flutes, clarinets and saxophones can be hired at an extra cost of £3 per session.
