Dive into the mesmerising world of Glass Art and Immerse yourself in the art of Glass decorating, fusing and painting with Cathy from Cstar Design at The Dart Centre!
From leaded panels to fused glass art and incorporating with traditional and contemporary ideas. CStar Design handmake all their beautiful glass pieces from their Hampshire Based Workshop. They create glass art, gifts, original jewellery incorporating there own lampwork beads and sterling silver, art pieces and specially commissioned works.

Please note
All glass art materials will be provided by Cathy from Cstar Design, Cathy will explain about the materials when needed and will be available to guide and help. No cutting of the glass will be involved.
This class is a great introduction to glass fusion for beginners and glass lovers. All classes will use a selection of different grades of fusable glass materials and will be working on a base piece.
Be advised that Cstar Design monthly themes will range in different prices and during each of those sessions, you will create an item that will be taken away, fired by CStar Designs and returned to The Dart Centre for collection.
Lastly, due to the nature of kiln firing and its sometimes unpredictable effects, there is a small chance that pieces may move, slip and even crack during the process. This is very rare, but it’s worth knowing that we cannot guarantee how your piece will look after firing.

8th March - Round Bowl
Come and design a beautiful round glass bowl using vibrant glass fusing these colourful elements to craft a unique, one-of-a-kind bowl. A fantastic opportunity to experiment with texture and colour while creating a functional piece of art that’s all your own.
You will be making 1 bowl and working flat (CStar will shaping the bowl for you)

5th April - Woodland Walk Curve
Join us to design your own 'Woodland Walk' inspired glass piece! You'll work with beautiful glass materials to capture the essence of a peaceful forest or woodland — think earthy tones, vibrant greens, and textured elements that bring your woodland scene to life.

10th May - Garden Flower Sculpture
Join us and create your very own glass flower sculpture in this vibrant and creative class! You'll learn how to shape and layer colourful glass pieces to craft a unique floral design that captures the essence of a blossoming garden.
You will be making 2 flowers which once made will slot on to metal rods.
Triangular glass base pieces size approx 18 cm in height plus metal rod
